Certainly looks better than before. I don’t buy the it was all a marketing stunt thing, because they would have resolved that way sooner, but you do wonder who the hell signed off on the previous Sonic design.

This is the best news that I’ve gotten all day.
The trailer the trailer still looks a little more silly than I'd like it to be, but I feel inclined to see it just because of Sonic and because it's not terrible anymore

I had the game on Genesis but I never felt like it needed a movie. They had a brief war with Sonic in F1.

He probably picked up this movie because it was an opportunity to do classic Carrey without being an ass. Plus, he was becoming famous in the Sega Genesis era, so it's not impossible for him to have been a fan.
